Skoda Kodiaq 2024 Engines
Typically for Skoda models, there is a variety of engines in the offer. The list of available engines includes both gasoline and diesel options, and most of the engines are actually available in all markets where this crossover is offered.
Also, the lineup clearly indicates that this model has derived from a compact crossover. Most engines are underpowered and small in size. Base models are equipped with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine, which is good for only 115 horsepower. Such a number even looks funny for a mid-size SUV. A more powerful version of the engine delivers around 150 horsepower, which makes things better. Still, the only gasoline engine that actually provides a decent driving experience is a 2.0-liter unit with 180 horsepower.
Things are slightly better with diesel units. The base version of the (in) famous 2.0-TDI is good for about 150 horsepower, but driving dynamics are actually quite decent, due to plenty of torque. A more powerful version of the engine seems like a perfect measure for a vehicle like this one. It features a max output of 190 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, which ensures pretty good dynamics in all driving situations.
How Spacious Is This SUV?
Considering that we are talking about the segment of familiar SUVs, the first thing that comes to mind is the size and interior space. In this aspect, the Kodiaq balances pretty well. Considering that we are talking about the vehicle that has most things in common with the Tiguan AllSpace, it’s no wonder that it features the same wheelbase, which measures slightly under 110 inches. Therefore, we may say that this model sits somewhere between the segments, which makes it more spacious compared to a compact crossover, but more maneuverable than mid-size crossover on the other side.

On the inside, the Skoda Kodiaq 2024 will continue with standard three rows of seats. The first row is quite spacious and we really like the seats. The second row is spacious. On the other side, the model pays debt to the shorter wheelbase, so the third row is actually pretty tight, only suitable for kids. The short wheelbase also has a negative effect on the cargo capacity, as you may count on just 270 liters behind the third row. For those who live in North America, that’s just 9.5 cubic feet. On the other side, the overall cargo volume is quite decent and goes over 2.000 liters (more than 70 cubic feet).
Skoda Kodiaq 2024 Styling and Interior Design
The recent update has brought a couple of novelties in terms of styling, so we don’t expect to see any particular change on the Skoda Kodiaq 2024. There is a new, slightly revised front end, while the most notable detail on the rear end is that there is a nice “Skoda” lettering instead of the badge on the tailgate.
On the inside, things have remained pretty much the same. Plenty of space, this cabin also has to offer a pretty amazing overall quality. Typically for VW Group models, all materials feature very high overall quality, while the dashboard looks very upscale, as nice materials are combined with elegant lines. As we already mentioned, seats are pretty good, while we also like the sound insulation, which ensures quiet ride, even in diesel versions.
Features
The Skoda Kodiaq 2024 will also be a well-equipped crossover. We might see a couple of novelties for the next year, but we are sure that most of the things will remain pretty much the same. That means familiar 8.0-inch touchscreen in base models, while higher trims come with the bigger 9.2-inch unit. Higher trims are also available with tech goodies like Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and more.

Considering that there are no bigger changes to come for the next year, we are pretty sure that the Skoda Kodiaq 2024 will hit the market in the last quarter of the year. The exact price depends on the market, but base models usually go around 25.000 GBP/30.000 Euro.
