Honda CR-V 2024: Hybrid and Redesign. The current generation of Honda’s compact crossover has been around for a while. It is still one of the best models in the class, thanks to impressive versatility and the fact that it’s really hard to find a weak spot on it. After all, it is the second best-selling crossover in the world, right after the arch rival RAV4. However, it looks like the Japanese manufacturer is aiming for even higher results, as some sources suggest we might see a three-row version. This model could arrive already in the next year, as the Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024, reports say.
Of course, this version would probably come with a longer wheelbase. Other than that, we don’t expect significant differences compared to the standard model, especially when it comes to aesthetics and powertrain. Naturally, we expect to see a hybrid version of it too, along with the standard gasoline-powered model.
Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 Powertrain
We count on two familiar options when it comes to the powertrain. The base Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 would feature a familiar 1.5-liter turbo-four, which puts out around 190 horsepower and comes coupled with a CVT gearbox, which does an excellent job. The acceleration is strong, the ride is smooth and the fuel economy is at a pretty impressive level.
We count on a hybrid version as well, which uses a familiar combination of a 2.0-liter engine and two electric motors, for a total output of 212 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque.
Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 Design
Without any doubt, the Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 dimensions are the first thing that comes to mind. The standard model is good for about 104.7 inches, which isn’t particularly long even for this segment. Still, Honda managed to pack two very comfortable rows of seats, along with some of the biggest cargo areas in the segment. We expect no more than a couple of additional inches between the axles.
Other than the size, we don’t expect significant differences compared to the standard version. The styling and exterior design should be pretty much the same, especially at the front. The rear end will certainly come with a little bit longer overhang, but the overall layout of the back end probably won’t come with too many exclusive details. On the other side, we could see new wheels and color options.
Interior
Of course, the bigger size means interior changes too. Obviously, the biggest one would be the addition of the third row. The current model already features an impressive cargo volume. Along with additional inches in wheelbase, we are sure that the third row would offer a quite decent amount of legroom. Of course, the amount of cargo volume behind the third row wouldn’t be impressive, but the overall numbers will certainly be astonishing.

Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 dashboard
When it comes to the dashboard design, we don’t expect to see differences. The Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 USA model is about to come with a familiar layout, which utilizes quality materials and attractive aesthetics, designed in a classic Honda manner. Typically for CR-V, visibility would be great in all directions, while good sound insulation is another thing we expect to see. When it comes to the trim level organization, we expect no differences compared to the standard model.
Features
As we’ve just mentioned, no bigger differences are expected in terms of standard equipment. Still, keep in mind that a couple of updates are always possible, but most of the things should remain the same as in the current model. This means that base versions would be pretty basic, with things like automatic climate control, a 5-inch display, a four-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, and a USB port. Things would be much better in higher trim levels, where we expect to see things like a 7-inch touch- screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker stereo, satellite radio, HD Radio, an additional front USB port, two rear USB ports, an eight-speaker stereo, wireless device charging, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, remote start, proximity keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and many more.
When it comes to safety, the current model comes standard with things like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights and a rearview camera. The list of options includes front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, rain-sensing windshield wipers etc. We presume that Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 specs wouldn’t be much different in this aspect.
Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 Release Date and Price
The Honda CR-V 7-Seater 2024 is just a rumor for now and there are no confirmations by the officials at the moment. Still, various reports suggest this version could come already in the next year, with a slightly higher price compared to the standard model, which starts around 25.000 dollars. The key competitor would be the VW Tiguan, which is currently the only model in this segment that offers three rows of seats.
