When it comes to Ford Excursion 2024 specs, we don’t expect bigger surprises. We count on familiar engine options, which would certainly make this SUV really capable. Of course, this includes both gasoline and diesel options, just like the original model. The base models would probably come with a 6.2-liter V8 unit, which puts out around 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. We definitely count on the new Godzilla V8 engine, which measures around 7.3 liters in displacement, while the max output goes up to 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.
We count on a Ford Excursion 2024 diesel version too and we have no doubt that would be a new version of the monstrous 6.7-liter V8 engine, which puts out around 475 horsepower and stupendous 1.050 pound-feet of torque. Does this look like too much torque for an SUV? Probably yes, but like it.

In terms of base design characteristics, we presume that the new Ford Excursion 2024 will come with the same approach as the original model. This means it will be based on Ford’s Super Duty models, particularly on the F-250 models. Logically, one of the first things that also comes to mind is the size. This will be a huge SUV for sure. The current Expedition Max is already really big, as it measures more than 131 inches in wheelbase. Keep in mind that the new Suburban has arrived and that it offers impressive numbers in terms of cargo volume and overall interior space. That’s another reason to see the Ford Excursion 2024. The original model features more than 137 inches in wheelbase and we presume that the new one would be even bigger, maybe even with full 140 inches between the axles.
Styling
The next thing that comes to mind is the styling. Considering that this SUV will be based on Super Duty models, we may count on the same styling. Of course, we are talking about the front end, which will probably feature the same or similar look to the recently-updated F-250. Still, keep in mind that there is always enough room for exclusive details. The rest of the body will come in a typical wagon manner. Count on a boxy and extremely long body, which will hide huge amounts of space on the inside.
Interior
When it comes to interior design, the first thing that comes to mind is space. Given the model’s expected size, we expect nothing less but significant cargo volume and passenger room. The current Expedition and Expedition Max are already impressive in this aspect, while the 2024 Excursion would bring everything to the next level. At this point, it’s still early for the exact numbers, but we won’t be surprised if we see more than 40 inches of legroom in all three rows, which is something you can’t get in any other vehicle on the market.

When it comes to the dashboard and overall cabin layout, we presume that the new model won’t go too far away from Super Duty truck models. Still, the truckish dashboard may come with a couple of upgrades, in order to look nicer. This particularly refers to things like nicer materials, more standard equipment, latest tech goodies etc.
