Escape SUV is one of the best-selling Blue Oval’s nameplates the last couple of years and fourth-generation will bring even more changes than before. We like the new grille that grows significantly and the new slanted and slightly squinted LED headlamps. Aerodynamic is also improved, and roof racks offer low profile to cut wind resistance.

The Ford manufacturer will use the new eight-inch touchscreen on the SE trim and above, and it will put more quality materials. Two rows of seats are available and can place five passengers. Also, seats are comfortable, and visibility is excellent. Cargo area is a way better than before with 68.3 cubic feet.
Ford Escape 2023 Powertrain Options
The upcoming Ford Escape 2023 reliable SUV that available with the same three engine options. The first powertrain that powers this SUV is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost. This unit produces 180 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque.

The next one is one of our favorite 2.0-liter turbo-four and is optional. However, this engine is stronger, and it delivers 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of twist. Both powertrains will be connected to relatively new 8-speed automatic transmission.
Plug-In Hybrid
A plug-in variant is the third powertrain option. This engine is available on the SE Sport trim as standard. The more muscular and eco-friendly look, this model comes with a 2,5-litre engine, a 48-volt electric system, and a belt-driver alternator. According to Ford manufacturer, with this system, the plug-in variant promises on all-electric driving 50 miles range.
Ford Escape 2023 Price and Release Date
The price of the all-new Ford Escape 2023 will remain the same as before. The base model starts at $25,000, while the SEL trim cost around $30,500. Furthermore, the top-trim Titanium that comes with lots of techs is priced at $36,000. A plug-in hybrid version will be also available, and it will cost over $32,000.
As we already wrote at the beginning, the new Ford Escape will compete with Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, and Toyota RAV4 models. The debut of the Ford Escape 2023 will be later in 2023.
