Chevy Trax 2023: Colors and News Update. The upcoming Chevy Trax 2023 is a subcompact crossover SUV that will be redesigned for the next year. This popular small crossover will get plenty of new features and its look will be similar to the bigger Chevy Blazer model. Spy photos emerged, and from them, the new model will be larger than its predecessor. According to the latest report, the manufacturer will use the new GM’s G2XX platform.
Thanks to this new platform, the cabin of Trax will be roomier. The manufacturer will introduce a long list of standard equipment that will include better safety and some tech updates. Under the bonnet, Trax will continue to offer just one engine option.
Four-Cylinder Engine Remains
In the engine departments, there will be minimal changes. The Trax model will use the same powertrain as before. Under the hood is a 1.4-liter engine that can produce 140 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available with the front wheels drive system as standard. Also, AWD is an optional system. The fuel economy of the current SUV is relative good 26/31 mpg (FWD) and 24/29 mpg for the (AWD) model.
Some rumors already stated that the manufacturer might introduce one new engine. Most likely, Chevrolet will use the turbocharged gasoline unit that will produce over 220 hp. However, this information needs yet to be confirmed by officials.

The exterior design of Chevy Trax 2023 will get some modifications here and there. The next-gen model will be redesigned, and it will get a new GM’s G2XX architecture that also underpins the new Buick Encore SUV.
The 2023 Chevrolet Trax sports attractive look that runs from the top of the front wheel up to the top of the giant LED taillights. As before, this SUV will be available in a few trims. The basic LS model will be more stylish thanks to the black side-mirror caps, steel wheels, while the range-topping Premier trims sports more chrome accents. Premier trim will come with unique 18-inch alloy wheels and several more aesthetic upgrades.
Interior Redesign
The interior will be redesigned. The next-gen Chevy Trax 2023 will get more techs inside, and it will provide a way better-arranged cabin.
The interior will be filed with quality materials and the legroom will be improved. With two rows of seats available, this SUV offers a roomy cabin for five passengers. The cargo area of the current model is rated at 48.5 cubic feet. However, the new Trax will offer over 52.0 cubic feet as per the latest updates.

USB ports, Bluetooth phone/audio streaming, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, 7-inch infotainment touch screen, and a class-leading ten airbags are part of standard LT trim. However, going up to Premier trim, customers will get heated seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry/ignition, simulated leather upholstery, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
Chevy Trax 2023 Price and Release Date
The next generation Chevy Trax 2023 that is caught testing, will bring some changes and updates. The new-gen model will cost slightly above $22,000 for the base model. The range-topping Premier trim level that provides a long list of features can easily hit $30,000 mark.
