Chevy Tahoe 2024: Have New Design and Upgrades. We are eagerly waiting to see the all-new Chevy Tahoe 2024 as GM’s response to the excellent Ford Expedition. The current generation has a couple of notable drawbacks and this redesign is more than welcome. Expectations are pretty big. We expect that the new model will be more comfortable and that will offer better ride quality. We count on significant improvements in terms of aesthetics. The current generation looks really outdated, despite the fact that it’s not that old.
Of course, new tech features, higher interior quality and similar things seem certain. We’ve been getting all kinds of reports about the powertrain and it looks like we are about to see some pretty interesting novelties. This includes a diesel version as well. All in all, the new version should be much better than the current one. The latest reports are suggesting it will hit the market sometime in the third quarter of the next year.
Chevy Tahoe 2024 Engine
The current model is available with two V8 engines and both of them are expected to carry on without bigger changes. Of course, we are talking about a 5.3-liter V8, which is good for about 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The other one is a 6.2-liter unit, which delivers 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.
These two familiar units, we count on two more engine options. Base models will probably come with a new 2.7-liter turbo-four, which delivers around 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque. There is a big chance to see Chevy Tahoe 2024 Diesel. Of course, this model would feature a new 3.0-liter inline-six, the same one that can be found in the new Silverado. It features a max output of 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
All engines should come in pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Chevy Tahoe 2024 Should Get More Legroom
One of the biggest complaints about the current model goes to the fact that the third row isn’t as spacious as you would expect from a full-size SUV. With less than 25 inches of legroom in the third row, the current is tighter than most rivals, even tighter than some mid-size crossovers. We expect significant improvements in this aspect, especially if we consider that a couple of more rivals, including Toyota Sequoia, are expected to come redesigned in the near future. On the other side, the first and second rows are pretty decent in the current model (45.3 and 39 inches of legroom) so we probably won’t see bigger changes. The cargo area is also below-average, so we might see improvements in this aspect.
Chevy Tahoe 2024 Redesign
As you can see, interior space increase is one of the first we expect to see in the new Chevy Tahoe 2024 interior. Still, novelties are expected in other aspects. Of all, we count on a new platform. Of course, that will be a new T1 architecture, the same one that underprints the new Silverado. This platform brings various improvements, including significant weight savings. The new model is expected to be lighter for about 300 pounds.

This should have a highly positive impact on fuel economy and driving characteristics. Speaking of driving characteristics, we also count on an independent rear suspension, considering that the current model isn’t particularly comfortable on bumpy roads.
Styling
Naturally, the new styling is another thing we expect to see. The current model looks older than it actually is, so we expect that Chevy designers will do a much better job this time. We presume that a lot of inspiration will be taken from the new Silverado 1500, particularly at the front. You can find a lot of rendering photos on the internet that suggest how this SUV could like. However, we don’t expect Chevy Tahoe 2024 reveal before the next year, so we won’t speculate too much about aesthetics.
Interior
As we already mentioned, the new model is expected to ger a much more spacious cabin. Besides more space, the Chevy Tahoe 2024 interior should get a completely new layout. We count on a completely new dashboard and hope that Chevy will do a much better job than in the new Silverado. Naturally, the first thing that comes to mind are finer materials, but we also count on loads of new tech features, including safety systems as well.
Chevy Tahoe 2024 Release Date and Price
We presume that the Chevy Tahoe 2024 release date will be scheduled for the third quarter of the next year, though we may see its premiere a little bit earlier.
The current model goes in a range between 49.000 and 57.000 dollars and we don’t expect that the Chevy Tahoe 2024 price will be much different. When it comes to the competition, some of the key rivals are models like Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, Toyota Sequoia etc.
