The new generation will be more spacious, but it will also come packed with all kinds of advanced technology goodies, including all those touchscreens. Also, count on a new powertrain option. The standard V8, you may get this super-long luxury SUV with a diesel engine. According to the latest reports, the Cadillac Escalade ESV 2024 release date will be scheduled for this summer.

We don’t expect surprises in this aspect, so the new model will come with two familiar engine options. This model shares a lot of things with Chevy Suburban, so it will share the engine lineup as well. This means that a big novelty for Cadillac Escalade ESV 2024 will be the addition of diesel option, which will come with a familiar 3.0-liter turbodiesel, which puts out around 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Of course, the current V8 will remain in the offer as well. You may count on a 6.2-liter V8, which comes without changes in terms of power, compared to the current generation. The max output goes around 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Both engines come in pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to either rear or all wheels.

This redesign has brought a lot of important novelties. Of course, the new Cadillac Escalade ESV 2024 is heavily based on the standard version and it features a notably longer wheelbase. This time, we are talking 134.1 inches in wheelbase, which guarantees huge amounts of space on the inside. Interestingly, the new model is also lighter, as it rides on GM’s new T1 platform, which utilizes lots of lightweight materials. As a result, the new model will be lighter for about 300 pounds. Another important novelty we should mention is the addition of independent rear suspensions, which brings benefits in many aspects.

Of course, there is also a new styling, which isn’t much different compared to the standard model. This version may be stretched, but it features practically the same front end and overall design language, which takes a lot of inspiration from the recent Escala concept.

Of course, this SUV is mostly about comfort and convenience, so the interior gets special treatment. Due to a longer wheelbase, the new model is extremely generous in this aspect. The first and the second row are pretty much the same as on the standard model when it comes to legroom. On the other side, the third row is more spacious and offers 36.6 inches of legroom. That’s a pretty nice number and compared to the previous generation. Both second and third row have gained about two more inches in terms of legroom.
Bigger dimensions mean more cargo space and the new model looks spectacular in this aspect. Still, a longer wheelbase isn’t the only reason for significant improvements. As we already mentioned, the new model also gets an independent rear suspension, which doesn’t just have a big impact on comfort and driving experience, but also leaves more room in the cargo area. Therefore, the total volume goes up to really impressive 142.8 cubic feet, which is almost 22 inches more compared to the previous generous. Things look even more impressive if you look at the numbers behind the second and third row, where you may count on 94.1 and 41.5 cubic feet, respectively.
On the other side, the basic interior design is pretty much the same. This means you may count on the same dashboard design as in standard models, which looks really impressive. Of course, one of the highlights is a huge touchscreen, which consists of three separate sections, including both huge instrument cluster and infotainment screen. We should mention the addition of a new entry-level trim, called Sport. On the other side, the Cadillac Escalade ESV 2024 Platinum will remain the range-topping version.
Release Date and Price
We expect to see the new model already in the summer. When it comes to the Cadillac Escalade ESV 2024 price, base models will go around 80.500 dollars. Obviously, the biggest rival will be the stretched version of Lincoln Navigator. Of course, there are also other luxury full-size SUVs, such as BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS and others.
