Cadillac Escalade 2024: Redesign and Pictures. The new generation of Cadillac’s most famous nameplate is on its way. We have big expectations from the new Cadillac Escalade 2024, especially if we consider that the biggest rival, Lincoln Navigator, currently dominates in pretty much all aspects. Therefore, big novelties are about to come in different fields. Of all, we are about to see a new platform, which will bring rather evolutionary changes. On the other side, the styling will be significantly better, as the new model is about to fit the brand’s latest design language. The current model looks a little bit outdated in terms of the styling, but things aren’t much different on the inside either.
So, we are also about to see a significantly updated cabin, as well as novelties under the hood. Some reports are even suggesting a new twin-turbo V8 engine, though we are still waiting for the official confirmation. Anyway, the new model should have premiere soon, while sales are expected to start sometime in the second half of the next year.
Cadillac Escalade 2024 Engine
All kinds of reports are coming when it comes to powertrain. Still, we know for sure that base models will carry on with the same 6.2-liter V8, which delivers around 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. On the other side, many reports are suggesting a hi-performance version. This one would feature a supercharged version of this engine. It is something we can find in the Camaro, with a max output of around 650 horsepower.
On the other side, many believe that higher trims will feature Cadillac’s new 4.2-liter twin-turbo engine, probably with a max output of 550 horsepower. Of course, all these powertrain novelties will probably have a big impact on the Cadillac Escalade 2024 price.
Cadillac Escalade 2024 Redesign
Let’s start with the most basic things about the Cadillac Escalade 2024 changes. The first thing the comes to mind is a new platform. Although we are talking about new T1 architecture, it is actually an evolved platform of the previous generation. Still, that doesn’t mean anything bad, as we can see significant improvements in models like GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado. One of the biggest benefits of the new platform is efficiency, as the new model is expected to be around 300 pounds lighter.
Of course, we are about to see various kinds of mechanical novelties. Still, probably the most important thing to mention is a new rear suspension. The Escalade will also get an independent rear suspension, which should significantly improve comfort and overall driving characteristics. This should be a standard feature across the whole range.
Styling
This aspect will probably bring the most significant changes compared to the outgoing model. The current generation doesn’t look particularly great, so we have big expectations for the new model. The testing model has been spotted on the road. It still wears camouflage and the only part that has been uncovered is the grille, which brings a new mesh matter and looks much more massive than before.
The rest of the vehicle is still completely covered. Still, we may presume that the new model will take a lot of inspiration from the Escala concept, as well as from smaller crossovers XT4 and XT5. This means a sharp overall approach and a combination of narrow horizontal and vertical lighting groups. Still, it looks like the overall shape won’t change too much.
Interior
Big Cadillac Escalade 2024 changes are about to come on the inside. At this point, we don’t know too many details, but the thing that is obvious is a new dashboard layout. Spy photographers managed to catch some parts of it and we can obviously see a large dash-mounted touchscreen. Also, there is a digital instrument cluster, as well as a new center console, with a new shift-by-wire shift lever.

Other than that, things are still quite unclear. One of the aspects where this SUV definitely needs improvements is interior space, particularly when it comes to the third-row legroom. We may presume that the new model will get a couple of more inches in wheelbase, which would make the Cadillac Escalade 2024 interior more spacious and more comfortable. On the other side, a long-wheelbase version called ESV probably won’t change too much in terms of dimensions, as it is already more than generous in aspects like interior space, cargo volume etc.

It is still early to talk about the more precise date, but it looks like the Cadillac Escalade 2024 release date will probably be scheduled for the second half of the next year. Of course, we will probably see its premiere a little bit earlier. When it comes to the price, the current model starts at around 75.000 dollars and we don’t expect significant changes, at least when it comes to base versions.
