2023 Ford Edge Release Date, Redesign. The forthcoming 2023 Ford Edge will be soon ready for release and it will introduce more standard features this time. The new model has been caught testing last week and according to the images, some of the changes will happen.
Besides the standard model, the manufacturer will also introduce a new Edge ST variant. This high-performance model will gain a more attractive look and more power under its hood. ST version replaces Edge Sport trim. The hybrid drivetrain is also rumored and we can expect better consumption with this model.
2023 Ford Edge Exterior Redesign and Colors
The upcoming 2023 Ford Edge will continue to be a strong and reliable SUV. According to the latest news, the new model will get serious visual changes. Revised front and rear styling will happen for sure. As we already wrote, the upcoming model is caught testing and is heavily camouflaged. From images, we can clearly see that the manufacturer redesigned the front and the new SUV is housing LED headlights as standard. On the other hand, the same shape and dimensions will remain as before.
The front grille will also suffer small modifications and from the latest report, the manufacturer will use more chrome accents around it. The rear of this SUV will get minimal changes. The same taillights are present and the bumpers are looking stronger and aggressive. The 2023 Ford Edge as before will be available with colors like Agate Black, Ruby Red, Burgundy Velvet, Baltic Sea Green, Stone Gray, Blue Metallic and Ingot Silver.
Cabin Changes
More changes for the popular family SUV 2023 Ford Edge will happen inside. This SUV will get high-quality materials and a more spacious cabin. Also, as we mentioned, the manufacturer will add more features and soft-touch materials. However, some of the techs remain. The Blue Oval will use the same 8-inch touch screen as standard.

Most of the features will be available with the ST. This version will get an all-digital instrumental cluster and better leather seats that provide great experience on a longer trip. Luggage space behind rear seats measures 39.2 cubic feet. Fold them flat expands to 73.4 cubics of space.
Engine Details
Blue Oval will continue to offer two engines with this model. One will be available under the base model and one with the ST variant. The same 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine is available and is capable of making up to 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque through 8-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid powertrain is also rumored. However, this information is not yet confirmed by the Blue Oval.
Ford Edge ST Ecoboost V6
Sport trim is replaced with ST. The manufacturer will pack more features to this SUV, and more powerful engine. The 2023 Ford Edge ST will look sporty thanks to that. Under the bonnet of this variant is lying a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine that generates 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Also, thanks to this powerful engine, the Edge ST is one of the fastest SUVs in the non-premium segment.
2023 Ford Edge Price and Release Date
The price of the upcoming 2023 Ford Edge will be around $32,000 for the base model. However, the price will go up to $45,000 for the high-performance ST. Blue Oval’s flagship SUV will arrive sometime next year. Some predict that 2023 Ford Edge and ST will be released in the second half of 2023.
