The Honda CR-V 2024 will continue with two familiar engine options in the offer. Base models will feature a 1.5-liter turbo-four engine with a max output of 190 horsepower. It comes in pair with a CVT gearbox and the overall performance is quite good. Still, the best thing about this powertrain is fuel economy. It goes around 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. Those are some of the best ratings in the class.
If you prefer hybrid powertrains, such a version of CR-V is also available. It uses the same system as the Honda Accord, which means a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a couple of electric motors, for a total output of 212 horsepower. The fuel economy goes around 40 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway, which is pretty good. Still, models like RAV4 Hybrid offer even better fuel economy.

Design-wise, not many things have changed since the initial launch in 2016. The overall layout is the same, while the biggest changes came with the 2023 refresh. For that occasion, we saw revisions in terms of the styling but even those weren’t particularly notable. Interior
The same thing goes for the interior design. Models like Mazda CX-5 may look more upscale, but the overall quality is definitely on a high level in this compact crossover. Base models still use a small 5-inch audio display, while there are also things like a four-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, and a USB port, as well as automatic climate control. Fortunately, things are much better once you step up to higher trim levels. There, you can get goodies like a 7-inch touch- screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker stereo, satellite radio, HD Radio, an additional front USB port, two rear USB ports, an eight-speaker stereo, wireless device charging, navigation, a nine-speaker premium stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, remote start, proximity keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a universal garage door opener, and interior ambient lighting.
On the other side, things are completely different in terms of safety. All models come with a lot of things on the list of standard features. You get features like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights, and a rearview camera. Additionally, you can get blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
