Buick Enclave 2024: Redesign and Specs. For those drivers who see German premium trio too flashy and way too expensive, there is a nice number of cheaper alternatives that feel and ride very premium. Besides Japanese rivals, there is also the Buick Enclave to be considered, especially after the upcoming facelift, which was original planned for this but eventually has been delayed for the next year, due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The Buick Enclave 2024 is about to come with a plethora of novelties, mainly in terms of aesthetics, though we count on improvements on the inside.
On the other side, the overall layout will remain the same. The Buick Enclave 2024 will continue to deliver a smooth ride and to feature one of the most spacious and practical cabins in the segment. Add to this a long list of tech features and the Enclave turns out to be a pretty good value. Of course, it isn’t without flaws and we will try to mention them in the following paragraphs. The updated version should arrive sometime in the second half of the year.
Buick Enclave 2024 Engine
Changes will come in many aspects but the Buick Enclave 2024 will carry on with the same powertrain. This means you may count on a familiar 3.6-liter V6, which is good for about 310 horsepower. It comes in pair with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the front or all wheels.
The ride quality is generally good. It is rather on the comfort side, so the Enclave isn’t particularly fun to drive. On the other side, the transmission is smooth and works pretty well in most situations. What’s not good about this crossover is fuel economy. It’s not bad but definitely could be better. In numbers, you may count on about 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Models with all-wheel drive are slightly thirstier and the economy drops by 1 mpg.
Buick Enclave 2024 Facelift
The upcoming update will bring a lot of changes but the most significant ones will be those in terms of the styling. Although the current generation has been around for just a couple of years, GM wants to make this crossover more appealing. You may count on the new front and rear ends of the vehicle. At this point, the testing mule still wears a camouflage in these areas. Still, we may presume that many things will be inspired by the Chinese version, which features a completely different styling at the moment. This particularly refers to areas like grille, headlights etc.

On the other side, the overall design will certainly remain the same. This model rides on a familiar C1 platform and shares a lot of things with Chevy Traverse. Of course, we are talking about a typical FWD layout, though AWD models are available too.
Interior
Changes on the inside won’t be that significant but we definitely count on some important novelties. If you look at the current model, the biggest complaint actually goes to materials, which aren’t as impressive as in other premium mid-size crossovers. Nicer materials, we could also see a little bit bigger touchscreen, despite that the current 8-unit works pretty well.

On the other side, the overall cabin layout will certainly remain the same. This crossover benefits from the fact that it features around 121 inches in wheelbase, which provides plenty of passenger and cargo room. The front seats offer more than 41 inches of legroom, while the second is good for 39. Even the third row is adult-friendly, as it offers around 34 inches of legroom. When it comes to the cargo area, you may count on about 23.6 cubic feet of space behind the third row, 58 cubic feet behind the second row, and 97.6 behind the first., which are some of the most impressive numbers in the segment.
Safety Features
One of the biggest drawbacks of the current model is a very short list of standard safety features. Practically, a rearview camera and parking sensors are the only standard safety features. On the other side, the list of options is pretty impressive and includes things like blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, enhanced automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane change alert, a surround-view parking camera system, a rear camera mirror, a following distance indicator, and adaptive cruise control. We expect that many of these will become standard in the updated Buick Enclave 2024.
Buick Enclave 2024 Release Date and Price
The Buick Enclave 2024 will arrive somewhere in the second half of the year. At this point, we don’t know the exact date but more details should come soon. When it comes to the price, we don’t expect a bigger increase compared to the current model, which starts at around 41.200 dollars.
