Chevy Tahoe SS 2024: Price and Interior. The new generation of Chevy’s full-size SUV arrived last year, with a full load of novelties and plenty of improvements. We are pretty sure that the Chevy Tahoe 2024, which will represent the second production year, will come without more important changes. Still, some sources suggest the next year could bring a new special version to the offer. Allegedly, Chevy will bring back the famous SS badge.
Other than that, things will remain the same. You may count on a great SUV, which has so many good things to offer. This model offers plenty of passenger room and an even more impressive cargo area. Also, it is easy to drive and quite comfortable, while the engine lineup consists of three capable powertrains. The list of standard and available features is pretty long, whether it’s about tech goodies or safety systems.
Considering that there are no bigger changes to come, we presume that the Chevy Tahoe 2024 will hit the market sometime late in the year.
Chevy Tahoe 2024 Engines
Things under the hood will certainly remain the same. The Chevy Tahoe 2024 is about to carry on with three familiar options in the offer. Base models use a 5.3-liter V8 engine, which puts out around 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. If you prefer something peppier, there is a good-old 6.2-liter unit, which is good for about 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. There is a diesel option, equipped with a 3.0-liter turbodiesel, which delivers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
All three engines come in pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Chevy Tahoe 2024 Redesign
Considering that we are talking about the second production year of the current generation, there is no doubt that the overall design is about to remain the same. The recent redesign has brought a lot of new things, starting from a new T1 platform, which brings new design solutions, saves a lot of weight and makes this SUV better to drive. One of the things we should mention is the independent rear suspension, which is beneficial not just in terms of handling, but also in terms of comfort. Furthermore, it even provides additional cargo space.
As we already mentioned, the next year could bring a new, performance version of the SUV. Allegedly, Chevy will bring back the famous SS badge. Of course, this model would come with various upgrades, both in terms of mechanics and aesthetics. However, the officials are still quiet about this model, so take this rumor with a big reserve.
Interior
Interior changes definitely won’t happen. The recent redesign has brought a lot of novelties, including a completely new dashboard design. The overall quality is much better than before. Materials are much finer, while the dashboard looks more upscale. The list of tech features is pretty long and makes the cabin look even more luxurious.
Besides good overall quality, this cabin is also extremely practical. First of all, there is plenty of passenger space in all three rows. While the previous generation features a little bit tight third row, the new model offers far more space and accommodates adults with ease. Also, the cargo area offers some really serious numbers. You may count on 25.5 cubic feet of space behind the third row, 72.6 cubic feet behind the second row, and a total of 122.9 cubic feet of the total cargo volume.
Features
We might see a couple of new features in the next year but we are pretty sure that most of the things will remain the same as in the current model. For reference, the current model already comes with a pretty impressive list of standard features. It includes goodies like a 10.2-inch touch screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six USB ports, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a six-speaker sound system, satellite radio, HD Radio, tri-zone automatic climate control, remote start, and proximity keyless entry. Additionally, you can get navigation, a rear-seat entertainment system with two 12.6-inch touch screens and Wi-Fi capability, wireless device charging, and a nine-or 10-speaker Bose stereo.
