Nissan Armada 2024: Specs and Photos. There are some pretty interesting Nissan Armada 2024 changes to come if we can rely on the latest reports. The current generation doesn’t seem that old at the first look. It has been introduced in 2016, but the fact is that we are talking about the vehicle that is known as Patrol around the world, which has been redesigned a decade ago for the last time. Updates are more than welcome.
That’s the main reason why we believe in updates in the near future. Considering that Patrol has been updated recently, we expect the same from this one. We count on the same kinds of changes, both in terms of exterior and interior design. This also means that the powertrain is about to remain the same. On the other side, we should see some additions in terms of new standard features. The new model should hit the market in the second half of next year.
Nissan Armada 2024 Engine
We expect that the Nissan Armada 2024 will carry on with the same 5.6-liter V8 engine. Still, a slight boost is possible, so a new version could go up to 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. The current version returns around 14 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway.
Nissan Armada 2024 Exterior Changes
The most notable Nissan Armada 2024 changes will be those in terms of the exterior design. Of course, this particularly refers to styling. On the other side, the mechanical aspect of the vehicle will remain pretty much untouched. The updated model will continue to ride on a good-old F-Alpha platform, which ensures pretty good driving characteristics.
The Armada offers excellent handling, as well as pretty good dynamics and these are the aspects where this Nissan looks better than some much younger competitions. On the other side, a big drawback is that the ride can sometimes be pretty firm.
While the mechanical aspect of the SUV will remain the same, we count on a much better styling. Practically, we count on the same face we can see on the new Patrol. This means new headlights, grille, bumper and other parts, all designed in a quite futuristic manner. Still, the rest of the vehicle is about to remain pretty much the same, with the exception of wheels and color options.
Interior
As we’ve already mentioned, this won’t be a full Nissan Armada 2024 redesign, but rather a facelift. Still, we are about to see some pretty interesting novelties. Of all, the dashboard will be revised. We are about to see a newer, dual-screen setup, the same one you can see in several Infiniti models. Climate controls and other buttons will be replaced with another touchscreen, while we also count on smartphone integration goodies like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Other than that, things will remain pretty much the same, which is not bad at all. Moreover, the overall quality is among the highest in the class, as you practically get the same materials you can find in the Infiniti QX80.
Features
This is where we may see some additions. Still, keep in mind that the current model already comes standard with things like 13-speaker Bose stereo, satellite radio, navigation, and four USB ports. Don’t expect too much in this aspect.

The same thing goes for safety. All models are equipped with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. Optional features are surround-view parking camera system, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, a rearview camera mirror, rear cross-traffic alert etc. Some of these could become standard in the new Nissan Armada 2024.
How comfortable will Nissan Armada 2024 be?
When it comes to the Nissan Armada 2024 interior dimensions, you may count on the same numbers. You may count on more than 121 inches in wheelbase, which are pretty much typical numbers for the class. The same thing goes for the legroom. There are around 41.9 inches in the first row, while the second row is good for 41 inches. These are pretty solid numbers, while the other strengths of this model are supportive and very comfortable seats. On the other side, the third row is tight and offers around 28 inches of legroom. Along with Chevy Tahoe, the Armada features the tighter third row in the class.
When it comes to cargo capacity, you can count on about 20.3 cubic feet behind the third row, which are pretty decent ratings for the class. On the other side, the overall volume is slightly below-average and goes around 87 cubic feet.
Nissan Armada 2024 Release Date and Price
The new version should hit the market sometime in the second half of next year. The current model costs a little bit more than 47.000 dollars in the base version and we don’t expect significant changes in the future.
