Skoda Kodiaq 2024: Specs and Pics. Four years have passed since the launch of Skoda’s biggest crossover. It’s time for some changes. The Czech company already works on updates and the testing model has been spotted on the road. We are about to see a typical facelift, which will bring revised styling, but novelties in other aspects are possible too. Of course, we are talking about the interior and engine lineup.
Still, keep in mind that most of the things are about to remain the same. The mechanics will definitely remain untouched, while even the styling changes should remain pretty subtle. On the side, we might see some revisions in the engine lineup, for certain markets.
Skoda Kodiaq 2024 Engines
When it comes to the powertrain, most of the things will remain the same. The Skoda Kodiaq 2024 will carry on with a wide engine offer, which includes several petrol and diesel options. The actual offer depends on the market, but you may count on familiar 1.4- and 2.0-liter TSI engines, with a power range between 125 and 220 horsepower. Of course, there are also famous TDI units, ranging from 150 to 240 horsepower.
For the Skoda Kodiaq 2024 facelift, we expect to see a new plug-in hybrid version in the offer. Some sources suggest that the most powerful, vRS diesel model will be dropped from the Australian market and replaced with something petrol-powered.
Skoda Kodiaq 2024 Facelift
The Skoda Kodiaq 2024 will come with several changes and those aesthetics will be the most important. The testing model has already been spotted and it wears a camouflage exactly where would you expect. Of course, we are talking about front and rear ends. At the front, we expect to see changes in areas such as the grille and bumper. If you’re familiar with Skoda models, you know very well that its designers don’t practice bigger changes during production cycles. Changes in these areas should remain pretty subtle.
The same thing goes for the other end. Of course, some revisions will come, particularly on the tailgate, where we expect to see new “Skoda” lettering. Furthermore, we could see revisions in areas like a rear bumper, taillights etc. Finally, we count on typical mid-cycle updates, such as new color options, new wheels and similar things.
Interior
Interior changes probably won’t be as numerous. Simply, the current model already features a pretty nice cabin, full of quality materials and rather conservative aesthetics, which always age nicely. The best we could see are new color schemes, as well as some new materials and trims in specific areas. Another thing we expect to see is the company’s latest infotainment system, with a bigger touchscreen and the latest software.

On the other side, the overall cabin layout will remain the same. With nearly 110 inches in wheelbase, the Kodiaq is pretty close to the mid-size segment. Therefore, it’s no wonder it comes with three rows in all variants. Of course, the third row isn’t as spacious as in some bigger 7-seaters, but a good thing to know is that seats can slide, which is highly positive in terms of flexibility.
Skoda Kodiaq 2024 Release Date and Price
The exact launch date of the Skoda Kodiaq 2024 is still a mystery. However, we are pretty sure it will arrive much earlier than usual, maybe already next summer. When it comes to the price, the current model starts around ₤ 26.000 in the UK and we don’t expect bigger changes in this aspect either. Of course, the competition remains the same and some of the key rivals will be models like Nissan X-Trail, Kia Sorento etc
