On the other side, the rest of the powertrain lineup is about to remain the same. The offer will start with a familiar 2.5-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine, which puts out around 191 horsepower. There is a hybrid version. As we already mentioned, it is based on a 1.6-liter turbo-four engine, which comes in pair with a 44-kW electric motor, while the combined output goes around 227 horsepower. This model uses a six-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of base design characteristics, we definitely don’t expect to see any particular change. The Kia Sorento 2024 will carry on with the same design, which has been recently introduced. Compared to the previous generation, the new model features a 1.4-inch longer wheelbase, and it is 0.4-longer. The ride quality is better now. Still, you shouldn’t expect some sporty handling, as this crossover was always more on the comfort side.
