Audi Q8 2024: Hybrid and Specs. Audi’s flagship crossover has been around for a couple of years and if we can trust the latest reports, the Audi Q8 2024 will come with nothing more than typical yearly updates, mostly in terms of new features. Simply, this crossover is one of Audi’s freshest models in the market, which has been introduced in 2018. The following model years have brought a couple of hi-performance versions, so it’s hard to believe that anything significant could happen in the next year.
You may count on a familiar design, which puts technology, luxury and sporty performances in a single package. It is a coupe iteration of the Q7 and it looks way better. It is more fun to drive and feels more up to date. On the other side, it is significantly less practical, as there is no third row and the cargo area is notably smaller. Since there are no bigger changes to come, the Audi Q8 2024 should hit the market sometime late in the year.
Audi Q8 2024 Engines
Things under the hood definitely won’t change and the Audi Q8 2024 will continue with three familiar engine options in the offer. Base models will carry on with a 3.0-liter V6. It is good for about 335 horsepower and comes in pair with 8-speed automatic transmission. When it comes to fuel economy, this engine returns around 17 mpg in the city and 21 mpg.
The next in the line is the SQ8, equipped with a 4.0-liter V8, which puts out around 500 horsepower. The RS Q8 model comes with a more powerful version of this engine. It puts out around 590 horsepower and provides pretty impressive overall performance.
Audi Q8 2024 Design
AS we’ve just mentioned, the current generation is still relatively fresh, so it’s hard to believe that any notable changes could come for the next model year. The Audi Q8 2024 will carry on in the same way, with the design that is based on the more conventional Q7. Of course, we are talking about a familiar MLB architecture, which underprints a variety of mid-size crossovers from the VW Group, including VW Touareg, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus etc. Just like those models, it features nearly 118 inches in wheelbase.
It is based on Q7, the Q8 features a significantly more attractive appearance. Not only that it comes with a sloping roof layout, which provides that coupe-like appearance, it also follows the brand’s latest design language and has a more appealing front face compared to the more conventional sibling. For the next year, the best we could see are novelties in terms of colors.
Interior
On the inside, the Audi Q8 2024 should also continue in the same way. We are talking about a nice-looking cabin, which offers Audi’s typical aesthetics and build quality. The build precision is excellent, while materials feature high quality. All in all, it’s hard to find any bigger complaint in this cabin, at least when it comes to quality. Furthermore, the impressive amount of tech goodies makes everything look even more opulent.

On the other side, the lack of a third row is an obvious drawback in terms of practicality. Audi sacrificed that for style and it looks like the designer did a good job. Also, the cargo area is significantly smaller. You may count on about 30.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and 60.7 cubic feet with these seats folded, which is below-average for the class.
Features
Novelties in this aspect are always possible. So, we count on a couple of additions to the list of standard equipment. Still, keep in mind that the current model is already pretty impressive in this aspect. It comes standard with things like tri-zone climate control, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch upper touch screen, an 8.6-inch lower touch screen, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, three USB ports, satellite radio, HD Radio, and a 10-speaker stereo. The current list of options includes wireless charging, quad-zone climate control and premium sound systems.
When it comes to safety, all models come with a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring (Audi Side Assist), forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking. Additionally, there are options like a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, rear cross traffic alert, a surround-view parking camera system, and a night vision camera. We presume some of these could become standard in the next-year model.
Audi Q8 2024 Release Date and Price
Since there won’t be bigger changes for the Audi Q8 2024, we expect to see it on the market sometime in the last quarter of the year. Bigger price changes shouldn’t come either, so base models should go slightly under 70.000 dollars. Key competitors are models like BMW X6, Maserati Levante etc.
