An interesting thing is that we already know pretty much everything about this update. The reason lays in the fact that this facelift was planned for the 2024 model year but it has been delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemics. We already know that the new model will come with a completely new face, which will make it look more attractive than before. Furthermore, we are also about to see a couple of changes in terms of interior design, while the powertrain department will remain untouched. This crossover is definitely on a comfort side when it comes to the ride setup. However, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t capable in terms of powertrain. The ride can actually be quite peppy, considering that a well-known 3.6-liter V6 is hidden under the hood. This engine puts out a pretty impressive 310 horsepower, which ensures pretty respectable driving dynamics. Furthermore, a nine-speed automatic transmission provides a quite smooth ride.
When it comes to fuel economy, you may count on typical ratings for the class. In numbers, that would be around 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
Chevy Traverse 2024 Design
The upcoming update is about to bring a lot of changes and from what we know so far, the focus is on the styling. The Chevy Traverse 2024 facelift will bring a log of aesthetical changes and as you may presume, most of them will come at the front. The most prominent part of the new front face is the new grille, which looks sharper than before and also leaves more space for the bottom section of the bumper, which also comes completely new. Finally, there are new, narrower headlights, while taillights also come with a couple of tweaks. The next year will also bring four new wheels designs, while we also count on new color options in the offer.
On the other side, the mechanical aspect of the crossover remains the same. You may count on the same setup, as well as on the same size, which is definitely one of the most prominent aspects of the vehicle.
Interior
As we’ve just mentioned, the size is arguably one of the strongest points of this vehicle. With more than 120 inches in wheelbase, it’s obvious that this crossover has more than enough room to comfortably accommodate adult passengers in all three rows. That isn’t the case with most rivals, especially if we consider the most popular models in the class, such as Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer etc. Besides plenty of space for passengers, there is also plenty of cargo room. We certainly won’t see changes in this aspect. So, you may count on 23 cubic feet of room behind the third row of seats, 57.8 cubic feet with the third-row seats folded, and 98.2 cubic feet of the overall cargo volume.

When it comes to the dashboard, things are pretty average. The overall interior quality is decent but doesn’t look particularly amazing. For the upcoming facelift, the Chevy Traverse 2024 interior won’t get too many novelties, though we should mention a new instrument cluster screen, which will be available as an upgrade.
When it comes to standard and available equipment, one of the things we should mention is that all models will come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. The list of safety features will be expanded as well and it will include goodies like automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlamps, and a following-distance indicator with forward collision alert. Of course, the list of options will be quite long.

At this point, the Chevy Traverse 2024 price is still a mystery but we don’t expect that the new model will feature significantly different price compared to the current model, which starts around 31.000 dollars.
