This platform already underprints XT6 and we presume Caddy would use a stretched version for this occasion, the one that underprints Chevy Traverse.

However, problems with this platform are numerous, when it comes to design solutions that would make this model less premium compared to rivals. Of all, this is a typical FWD platform, which comes with transversally mounted engines. That is something that can’t provide ideal weight distribution and premium driving experience.
Therefore, one of the possibilities is to see the Omega platform, which was used just once, for the CT6 model. This one meets all the standards to be considered premium, including a longitudinally mounted engine, rear-wheel-drive etc. It opens up the world of much more powerful engine options. This platform would also mean a significantly higher price tag.
Cadillac XT7 2024 Rumors Styling and Interior Design
In terms of aesthetics, we have no doubt that the Cadillac XT7 2024 would follow the brand’s latest design language. Of course, we are talking about the front end, which would utilize similar design solutions as models like XT6 and even Escalade. When it comes to the rest of the body, it would depend on the final approach. At this point, a coupe layout seems more likely to us. Such an approach would include a sloping roofline, which would provide that sporty appearance and make this model relevant in the world of premium coupe crossovers.
On the inside, we would expect to see more than we saw in the XT6 model. This means finer materials and more tech features. Does this mean the same amount of digital screen as in the Escalade? Probably. Of course, the sloping roof would compromise the cargo area, so this crossover wouldn’t be particularly practical.
