Hybrid Engine is Certain

Honda is delivering compact CR-V crossover with electric motors supporting the petrol engine. However, the vehicle is available in Europe only at the moment. Next year the Japanese company will bring it overseas, and the following season is reserved for Pilot Hybrid.
It is still questionable which engine is getting electric support. A 3.5-liter V6 is the most reliable engine in the family. The company is using a different setup for its premium mid-size SUV, Acura MDX. In this case, there is a 3.0-liter V6 unit as the base for the hybrid drivetrain. In this case, the Honda Pilot Hybrid 2024 could gain around 320 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque. At the same time, the engine returns 27 mpg combined. Still, the SUV could be after the PHEV version according to some spy photos claiming to be Pilot’s next edition. V6 Remains the Main Source of Power
Until the hybrid engine arrives, the 3.5-liter V6 engine is the only powertrain for the upcoming Pilot SUV. One of the most trusted units in the market can achieve 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of twist. It is not among the best outputs in the segment, but the engine is one of the most reliable mills. Still, the 2024 Honda Pilot can count on 5,000 pounds of towing capacity with all-wheel drive. In case you are using a front-wheel drive, we recommend not tow more than 3.500 pounds. An eight-speed automatic transmission doesn’t have an alternative.
2024 Honda Pilot Redesign Concept
It is not impossible to see the new 2024 Honda Pilot redesigned. Only two years after the release of the third generation the SUV suffered a facelift. When Will 2024 Honda Pilot Come Out?
The new 2024 Honda Pilot won’t be out until next year. We still don’t have any info about its redesign. We believe the company aims the NAIAS 2023 which is happening next summer. Few months after that, the new Pilot could be available in dealerships. By the end of 2023 for sure. Even after changes, the price of the new 2024 Honda Pilot will remain the same. The MSRP is just under $33,000. It is an average price for the three-row mid-size SUVs.
